01What this is

North is an early-access (test) version of software made by Gravitas Trust House ("we", "us"). It may change, break or stop working at any time.

02Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use North on your own computers while you hold a valid invite code or account. North is licensed to you, not sold. We keep all rights we do not expressly give you.

03What you may not do

You may not, and may not help anyone else to:

copy, sell, rent, share, publish or redistribute North or any part of it;
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, unpack or try to extract North's code, prompts, models or other parts, except where the law says you must be allowed to;
change North, or build a product or service that copies it or its features;
share your invite code or account with anyone else;
remove or hide any notices in North;
use North to break the law or anyone's rights, or to get around its usage limits or security.

04Your data

North only looks at your screen when you press its hotkey (or while you record a walkthrough you started).
Before anything is sent, North hides details such as card numbers, bank and ID numbers, emails and salaries on your computer. This is automatic and may not catch everything, so do not point North at information you are not allowed to share.
What North sends goes through our server to our AI provider to produce an answer. Our server does not store your screenshots, questions or answers. It keeps usage records (who, when, how much) to run limits and billing.
Screenshots are never saved on your computer. You can view North's privacy log, pause North, or delete all North data from the North icon.

05Answers

North's answers are produced by AI and can be wrong. They are not professional financial, legal, tax or accounting advice. Check important answers before you rely on them.

06No warranty

North is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

07Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from your use of North. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us for North in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 50 if you paid nothing).

08Ending these terms

We may suspend or end your access at any time, for example if you break these terms. You may stop at any time by uninstalling North. Sections 3, 6 and 7 continue after these terms end.

09Changes

We may update these terms. If we make an important change we will tell you, for example in North or by email. Continuing to use North means you accept the updated terms.
