Installing takes four steps.
No settings to choose. North installs for your user only, starts with Windows and lives next to your clock.

Download
Click Download for Windows and open North-Setup.exe when it finishes.

Allow it to run
If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.

Sign in
North opens a welcome window. Paste the invite code we sent you and click Sign in.

Point and ask
Point at a number, button or error and press Ctrl Shift Space. Click the North icon near the clock for settings.
You may see a blue warning. That's expected.
North is new, so Windows doesn't recognise it yet. We are getting North's installer signed, which removes this message. Until then, click More info and Run anyway.
Windows protected your PC
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.

North looks at your screen only when you press the hotkey, and only around your cursor.
Private details hidden
Card numbers, bank and ID numbers, emails and salaries are blacked out on your computer first.
Private apps skipped
Password managers, online banking and private browsing windows are never captured.
Nothing kept
Screenshots are never saved. You can see exactly what was sent, pause North, or delete everything.
